Thinking About Adoption?

Even if it has only crossed your mind briefly, adoption deserves a closer look. Many women who take the time to learn about it walk away seeing it differently than they expected. Our advocates are here to answer your questions and provide clear information in a pressure-free environment.

Alpha Clinics does not place children for adoption or act as an adoption agency. We are here to provide the information you need and connect you with reputable adoption professionals if you decide to take the next step.

You Have More Control Than You Think

One of the biggest misconceptions about adoption is that you hand over all control the moment you make that decision. That is not how it works. You get to decide:

  • Who raises your child
  • How much contact, if any, you want after placement
  • What kind of adoption plan feels right for your situation

Types of Adoption

There is no single way adoption has to look. Here is a quick overview of the three main types:

Open Adoption

You remain in contact with the adoptive family. This can range from occasional photos and updates to regular visits over time.

Semi-Open Adoption

Contact happens through a third party. You can still receive updates about your child while keeping your personal information private.

Closed Adoption

No identifying information is shared between you and the adoptive family. Some women prefer this option as they move forward.

What Does Adoption Cost You?

Nothing. Adoption agencies typically absorb the costs of the process, including medical expenses. Additional support for housing, transportation, or other pregnancy-related needs may also be available, depending on the agency.
